The videos below show the final results of the MbDFEM simulation. On the left, the von-Mises stresses on the pendulum can be appreciated. On the right, the stresses on the pin can be seen. The joint force vectors are also included in both videos, so the stresses can be visually correlated to the MbD forces.
In the pin stress video (right), the stresses at both circular ends of the pin can be appreciated. These stresses result from the fact that all the nodes belonging to the ends of the pin are grounded.
